Shapes Theme

 Show a few shapes - made out of paper or cardstock, laminated or not and see if the kids can tell you what they are? Talk about how many sides they have, their color if needed. Point out a couple examples in your room you are reading your books in or doing your story program in. Even Talk about the shapes we see in our everyday lives-- stop sign, traffic lights, signs along the road, the sun, the moon etc. FREE Printable Shapes link
