Dads and Father's day (UPDATED)



Ask the group about what special day is coming up to celebrate someone in their family? Last month we celebrate mom so this time is Dad’s turn! This  coming weekend on Sunday is Father’s Day June 17! we need to celebrate our dads and give them extra hugs and kisses this  weekend!

Use parachutes with the kids – a large flat sheet or tablecloth work too if you do not own a parachute

Father's Day Printable Coloring and fill out worksheet from here

Use coloring sheet puzzle and color pieces with crayons

 (if they want scissor practice) then cut the pieces apart

Glue down to colored construction paper

Help your child write the phrase-- I love you pieces and they can write what they call their dad… dad daddy baba papa etc. 

You are My Sunshine Card for Daddy or mom in the case of the image- use a yellow circle with tissue paper rays or noodles
and write the words you are my sunshine Daddy on this special Card!
