PLAY/ EXPLORE/ MOVE/ DANCE/ CRAFT:

Toddler and Preschool Music and Movement Activities

Host a dance in your socks party! Read The Duck Sock Hop Book or other fun Dancing or movement books from above and then have a dance party with fun music in your socks.

Play musical chairs game- line up a group of chairs - pick your favorite music CD's and then have kids walk/ dance around the chairs, then stop the music  and the kids have to find a chair to sit in. Those with out chairs are out and each time take at least one chair away.

Contact local aerobics or parks and recreation places in your area and see if they have dancing  aerobics  instructors for Zumba to come and teach a class with the kids. Explore different types of dancing - have special guest come and do demos like ballet, ballroom dance, tap, etc.
