PLAY:

Use the parachute (if no parachute- use a large sheet or tablecloth) with kids and parents 10 minutes if they need to move around or if there is extra time before craft time.

  • Lift up with kids holding handles say peek a boo
  • Put it down to the ground again
  • Life high so kids can go under
  • Have kids lay on their backs with belly facing parachute and see if it touches their belly
  • Walk in a circle holding the handles
  • Have kids help put a couple of balls on the parachute each and shake them up like popcorn

CRAFT: crayons, glue sticks, and tissue squares are in the lower cabinets under the phone.

Put out the “squares” coloring sheet and let them either color with crayons or bring out the bags on tissue paper squares and some glue sticks and let them glue the tissue paper onto the squares.

IF you have diecut machine you could cut out a bunch of squares and glue down for a collage.

Also you could collect different recycled boxes and make something new with them.
